We have two mirage kayaks and just purchased two AIs, we are considering getting two Revolutions so that our friends can fly in to play. Now we are trying to customize a trailer for 6 Hobie kayaks. Hmmmm. We know the Islanders will be in cradles on the bottom, and the others will rest upon pads on their cockpit rails. We found a customizing place, we just aren't sure which trailer to begin with and the exact specifics. Has anyone else already done this? Any suggestions? Searching the site I see small trailers for two AIs, but none as extensive as 6. Thanks for any help.

Check Trailex direct. They have all kinds of configurations. We had a trailer for carrying 10-12 kayaks, so I am sure you can do 6.

Trailex said they would not recommend doing this with their trailers. It looks as though we are back to square one. Thank you for your suggestion. I was thinking about Hobie 18, 20 or 21 trailer to modify. If anyone has further helpful ideas they would be most appreciated. We are looking for other trailer types to modify, as well. We will keep you posted and hope for some insight here.
