Quick check - I get around 104"

The TI's are 13' 4".

The link shows a TI assembled up there with Aks, which would be a complete waste of time.

If you go with cradles for the AI, I'm guessing you'll end up strapping the hull and Amas individually. Maybe using shorter tiedown straps.

Here's a good approach:

Nohuhu, thanks for Link to Bob's site. Very useful.
Your suggestion above is almost exactly the approach I am planning, akas attached to hull and in the craddle for the ride. I couldn't do your suggested approach with tonneau cover on bed. Mow that I have dimentions, I'll figure something out. Thanks.

I'm sure you'll find a righteous solution. When you do, please post photos.

I guess this is more efficient rather than having a trailer at the back. It would likely ease up driving. But regarding the tonneau cover does it take fabrication or modification on the bed to make it work properly?

The AI set is form fitted to a specific spot on the hull, so 67". (edit!)

The TI version could work I think. It would not be as snug.

I too think dis assembly is a better option for car topping though. Much easier to handle the separate parts when loading up top.

is the dimension of 67" measured mounting hole centre of one cradle to the mounting hole centre of the other cradle? Or is it inside edge to inside edge?

Thanks

Mine is measured centre hole to centre hole.

Thanks John. That's what I thought it would be.
