Does anyone know how to get a pack of 30 T Bolts shipped to New Zealand since I can't find any US site willing to send them and the local Hobie Dealer can't supply them since they don't stock Trailex Trailers in New Zealand.

I'm also curious why Hobie doesn't allow international orders anymore. There is only one dealer in New Zealand with limited stock which takes 6 weeks to 2 months get stuff in from Australia. Gets even worse if no stock is in Australia and hence 3 to 4 months wait for parts, i.e. no sailing for summer if something important breaks!

Hello Ian,

Unfortunately, due to Hobie's dealer agreements we are unable to ship Hobie products internationally. Please refer to Hobie's website, http://www.hobiecat.com/support/dealers ... rnational/, for further assistance.

Thanks,

Kyle

What we sometimes call carriage bolts will work equally well, although some times you have to file or grind the tops of the bolts a bit so that they'll easily slide in the track.

My guess is that a local hardware store in your area would stock these or something very similar.

Trailex trailers sells parts direct - just contact them: http://www.trailex.com/contact.cfm

Those aren't parts that Hobie offers, or our dealers would stock either - we get trailers from Trailex, they drop ship the trailers from their warehouse in Ohio, we don't stock spare parts - everything would come from Trailex directly for aftermarket needs - so try them

Thanks for the info iro carriage bolts, I did drop around some hardware stores and they all said they couldn't help when I showed them an example of a T Bolt. I might have one more try at getting some shipped before I try some carriage bolts.

A few years ago, I ordered several extra T-bolts (and a few other parts) directly from Trailex, and they promptly shipped everything I asked for directly to my house. They strike me as a great company with great customer service. If I ever need more stuff for my trailer, I'll try them first... customer loyalty & all that.
