Hi there I'm new to the forums, and we just got our new/first hobie 4 days ago, a Mirage Oasis and we love it.

We live on a lake and plan to use the boat everyday or so from spring to late fall. So far we have been picking the boat up to put it in or take it out of the water. I'm looking for a way that myself or my wife could launch the boat by ourselves. I've been reading on the forums and have found that leaving the boat on its belly is bad, and that is should be stored on its side. So this means no shore stations. Or can one be modified?

I also ran across a deal called the docksider that looks pretty easy. But the Oasis weighs a bit more than a simple kayak.

I would like to hear some suggestions that work for others.

If you simply build two "L" or uprights. You could just tilt up against them. You can also just roll over and store upside down (preferred position) on a pair of 2x4. Maybe carpeted. Upside down, the boat rests on the cockpit rails. These are the most solid areas of the hull. Also keeps the water / UV and bird droppings out of the cockpit.
