What dolly do people keep on the boat?

I'm planning to go solo touring around some lakes but want a dolly to help get the boat out of the water for overnight camping.
I have an island beach dolly but seem's a bit big to put on the boat for this sort of thing.
I'm wary about using a wheelcart after reading about deformation. Also not sure how easy these things are to get on and off when you are solo.

Thanks.

Dave, if you are on lakes, why do you need to get your boat out of the water? That is, why can't you just pull it up on the beach and leave it overnight?

Also, where are you located? You can put that in your profile, and it will show up under your name in your posts.

Dave, you could always completely bypass the dolly etc issue by leaving your Island in the water! If you have an anchor (essential equipment in my opinion), drop it in just away from shore, and tie a bow line to a tree etc. Adjust the lines so it doesn't bottom, and you are good to go.

Thanks all, the idea of leaving the island in the water is appealing but I'd rather have the island closer to where I'm camping, (designated camp sites in most of parks victoria....)

Dave
I anchor and tie to shore as others have said but I also carry a Hobie HD cart with the mini cradle. It's suitable for rolling your boat out of the water to a campsite on smooth terrain that is not too steep unless you are pretty fit but you would want to take the boat off of it at camp to prevent hull deformation. I would like this cart a lot better if it had the larger tires of the full size Hobie cart and I may fabricate one in this configuration.
