Post subject:  Leaving IA on cart caused dent

I didn't realize I shouldn't leave the IA on the Hobie cart and now there's a dent across the bottom of the kayak where the cart bar pushed it in. Is there a fix for this, or will it slowly come out on its on?

Flip the boat over and leave in the midday sun should take care of it.

Thanks, reconlon. Unfortunately, its 38 degress on Long Island today, but as soon as it warms up, I'll do the flip in the midday sun. And then head for the open water, of course. Oh, to be where you are.

So come on over, and we'll play! :) We got 3 AI's to play in. We're originally from CT so I remember how "warm" it can be there. We'll be back visiting again soon... as soon as it warms up that is.

I had same problem after leaving on wheels for a couple of weeks. I just put her on her side and it's popping out! Can't have a hogged Hobie!

Post subject:  Solved with PVC stands

I got these mesh nets and the PVC building plans for the stands from Steve at:

He posted a photo of my Island in a Hobie kayak cover on the stands at the site. They're easy to assemble and work great.
