Post subject:  Trailex trailer as a Cart

I have a Tandem Island and the Aluminum Trailex SUT-350. I have been beach launching it for several years. I want to try a new place that is blocked off to motorized vehicles, but the trailer can be walked to the water. I need to get the TI about 30 yards to the water. It has a nice gradual slope to the water. Kayaks launch there all the time. The terrain is compacted mud/sand so it would roll nicely to and from the water. My concern is the launch and retrieval solo. Mostly the retrieval. I was thinking a winch in the front and maybe an extra roller would make it a lot easier. I don't have either, but I see several posts on here with pictures. Does anyone use their trailex as a cart ? To load it back on if I put the TI on the backend of the trailer I would imagine the weight would lift up the tongue since there is no car attached and make sliding the boat forward awkward solo. The winch would probably make this more doable. I could also weight the tongue down with a trailer dolly which might also make the drag back to the truck a little easier. The trailer dolly might not be heavy enough. Anyone do this on a regular basis and have any suggestions ?
