Steven57 created a new AI & TI Owners Map in Google Maps. It's awesome and we need more people to join. Here is how.

Go to...

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&gl=us&ptab=0&ie=UTF8&view=map&msa=0&msid=113244570275810649834.000487a95a221bfcd3a1a&z=13

1. Create a Google account (or sign in if you already have one).
2. Go to the Adventure Island Owners Group map.
3. Click the "Edit" button (only present after you log in) - The button is located in the top right of the panel on the left side of the page that lists the links.
4. Locate the area you want to mark on the map. It's best to be zoomed in close to be ready to mark the location accurately.
5. When you click "Edit", three icons will appear at the top left of the map panel. Click the pushpin icon, which will attach a pushpin to your mouse pointer that you can click to attach to the location you want to mark.
6. When you position the pushpin to mark the location of interest, a box will appear that allows you to name the location, change the syle and color of the pushpin, make a comment, etc.

Max - Did you try clicking the link to get to the web page? I had no success searching for it either. I pasted the link below. There are a lot of people who have signed up. So, it seems to be working. Let me know if I can help more.

Thanks Mark for the info and Steve for making the map. Just posted my location in New Jersey on Barnegat Bay. Any others nearby?

We're a little north of you in Jersey... that would be quite a sail indeed around Long Island and down to the bay! Regardless, good to meet 'somewhat' local folks!

I'm a new Dune TI owner in Camas, WA, across the Columbia River from Portland, OR. Always looking to sail and hoping to do some fishing, too. Just added myself to the map.

Let me know if you're in the area.

I think this should be a "sticky" subject. Then it would be easier for us greenhorns to find it.

@Matt: Can you fix this, or let me know why you don't want it as a "sticky" one? Perhaps you have some Hobie policy in this forum that I'm not aware of.

Finally added my own location. I know there are other TI/AI owners in our area. Hope to find some and sail or fish.
