Port Macquarie 3 Rivers Race

Any New South Welshmen planning on going in the 3 Rivers Race next Sunday? My daughter and I have entered in our new TI, and I believe there will be at least another couple of Hobie yaks in it. I don't plan to 'race', but a leisurely cruise down the rivers should be fun, with a lunchtime BBQ and some jazz waiting for us when we get to the Port Rowing Club.

Sounds like a good weekend Max. I'd be keen on something like that but timing isn't good for me. Hopefully it's a yearly event and I'll keep a look out for it next year. ( 26k's !!! I'd better start training now )

Yes, it is an annual event, so mark in next year's diary now! 26kms will be a 'breeze' if we have any - breeze that is - otherwise my daughter will be getting plenty of exercise.

Hmmm, 8th Aug kind of clashes with the City2Surf marathon here in Sydney. But I'm not going in that either...
