Hmmm,
The forecast is deteriorating. Chance of thunderstorms Saturday and more likely Sunday.
Might be better to postpone again? :(

Sorry fellas. Just got home and couldn't get on the computer until now. Saturday is out for me. Sunday, sorry but I just found out I have to be up Nelsons Bay first thing for a couple of hours. Unless anyone is keen for a sail somewhere there? I reackon I'll take mine anyway if the weather looks good.

Or Monday ????

Fly out on the 25th for 11 nights. Today is looking pretty ordinary anyway for a sail. Might have to leave the AI tucked up in the garage after all while I go up the Bay.

HEADS UP- Terrigal to Pretty Beach Re-schedule
My workmates are keen to do this trip and we are planning for next Friday 11/2 -weather permitting. We have 2 AI's and a TI commited so far. Meet at Terrigal Haven around 08:30. A car shuffle has been organised to get back to Terrigal. :)

Damn it. I've just agreed, about 3 hours ago, to an overnighter down the Williams river from Dungog to Alison. I'll keep a watch on the thread though just in case there is a change it scheduling. If so, I'd love to come.

Looks like a great trip!! I'd love to come up & do it but have just rescheduled a 2-3 day trip from Sale to Lakes Entrance departing Port of Sale this Sunday early am. We were planning on doing it commencing today but weather is not favourable. We have 4 definite starters at this stage. We haven't broadcast this one - kind of a recce

Slaughter and Mickey,
It's a shame you two can't make it (it's a long haul for you Mickey) but I'm sure we will do it again.
I took my workmates out last week for a trial run off Patonga and Lion Island. They enjoyed it despite the fickle and gusty Westerlies. Two of them had never sailed before and we had two collisions in the AI's that resulted in 2 broken aka bolts! Thankfully K -Bobs tethers worked well! 8) (First breaks since Jason's collision and lost brace)
There were 3 of us on the TI (hence my question posted elsewhere) and it sailed really well.
As I said it will be dependent on the weather. We are looking for NEasters and a small swell. :)

PS- Looking forward to both your trip reports!

I'm lucky so far with the bolts. That tetheringwas a good idea of mine  ( hope Bob's not reading ! )

Hope you both have a great trips.

I've already picked out my music to suit the clip. I just hope we don't run across any banjo play'n, pig lov'n, rotten teethed hillbillies. That reminds me, I'd better pack my compound bow and clean undies.

Slaughter, you should be able to 'squeal like a pig' much more realistically now you are missing a certain part of your anatomy!
