My (TI) crew decided to abandon ship and left me up the creek without a paddle.     Who would have thought you'd get weather like this in February - usually a hot dry month.  Good ol Murphy's been at it again..... Cancelled this morning............... Hopefully there will be another HBDO - but we'd better make sure we don't tell Murphy 'bout it next time  Hope all you have a great time and look forward to hearing all about it... |

Day 1 pretty good. Sun came out and thunder storms went around us. Not much wind though. Shower and off to the pub for mineral water.. |

Here's a couple of pics from today. Note the clear blue skys... (We did get a thunderstorm later in the day after packing up and most people had left.) Tracklog for the weekend  Thank goodness for Mirage Drives - St Georges Basin with gentle rain.  The fleet prepares to launch  Mid morning break with Point Perpendicular in the distance.  Morning break over the fleet sails for Point Perpendicular.  A quick play in the ocean swell just outside JB.

Do I count 24 boats in the top photo, or is it 25? And only two of them Dunes. |

Day 2 we sailed out to Point Perpendicular after a small break gathered about the Hobie "mother boat". I'll post some pics when I get home. |
