Maybe a little late, but I'm planning to sail my TI tomorrow on Oak Hollow in High Point, NC. Conditions thus far are promising - 15 to 20 MPH average winds with an air temp of from 60F to 70F. Some clouds, but no rain expected until late in the afternoon. I only know of one other Island owner nearby and no local Island club, but any Hobie enthusiast that has any interest in what an Island can do is welcome to come out and watch. I might even have an open seat for a short complementary ride. I expect to be at the north ramp (sailboat ramp) around 10 AM to 10:30 AM to get started. |
