Hey guys-does anyone have their seat actually attached to the hull via the pegs either by Hobie(factory) or custom job? Im thinking of drilling holes through the female cup-ends(boat) and screwing the pegs in place as opposed to wrapping duck tape around the pegs and tapping them down with a malet. Thanks-

Replacemnet pegs, slightly larger, may fix the issue. You could glue the pegs in and then thread / unthread the seat from them.
