I need to do some modification on the side map pouches. Does anyone know whether the screws just turn with a screwdriver from the top, or is there a nut on the inside that needs to be backed with a wrench or something? It would be nice to not have to have someone reach in and up there to keep a nut from turning. |

The mesh over the pockets is attached by selftapping screws that are easy to remove. I've used a cordless drill to remove them. Just make sure it's in reverse! |

They are just a screw. I have removed the mesh part from my Revo just using a screwdriver. I then put the plastic surround (without the mesh part) back with the same screws to cover the holes again. |

My pockets are fraying and need to be replaced. The saltwater has probably worn them out even though I wash to A1 thoroughly with water after ever use. I was able to unscrew them easily by hand. My worry is that they won't tighten properly and that I might need to use a washer to ensure they don't come loose. |
