I experienced a complete loss of rudder control while sailing in moderate winds today. I looked back over my shoulder and discovered that I had picked up a large clump of seagrass on the rudder. Recycled rudder up and down again to dislodge - and life returned to normal. I only mention this as there have been numerous issues reported with rudder control and this might be a possible cause of at least *some* of those.

Good to hear your steering issue was an easy fix.

Yeah, I've experienced that as well. The other TI steering issues feel similar but don't go away after the rudder has been cycled up and down several times.

Messes with your lures too.

I have gotten in the habit of pulling up and checking both from time to time.
