Hi Max. To the TI list, you could add the challenge of cleating the reefing line from the back seat. The angle of the cam cleat makes it a challenge to cleat from the back seat. See post by Kayaking Bob on Fri Jul 09, 2010. viewtopic.php?f=69&t=27537&hilit=reef+cleat For a newbie, this could become an unexpected safety issue. |

And in addition to that, the furling line is too short to actually reach from the back seat. Even though they suggest tying it to the mainsheet to keep from losing it - that doesn't seem to work very well... |

Marc, added "Furling from rear seat" NOHUHU, added "Main sheet wear". It links to Main sheet is fraying. I mentioned in that post "I wonder if adding a fairlead to the cleat would help, same as the furling line cleat has?" It could well be the angle of the sheet to the cams. tspbrady, yes, the furling line is on the short side for 'back seat driving'. I tied it to the mainsheet while trying out the rear seat, which worked OK, but when I get a cleat organised I'll need to replace the line with a longer one. |

Added "[Mirage Drive] Locking system jammed" to the AI section of the Hobie Island Checklist. It refers to the Forum thread 'Click & Go' Problems. |
