this is the fourth trip on my ti, but right now it may be my last.
the mirage drive came loose on only one side and the other will not budge.
the result is a drive that sits on a 20 degree angle and will not come out or go straightg down.
I am afraid to force anything because the kayak seems vulnerable.
I cannot force the up side down and I cannot release the down side.
any suggestions?

One side of your Click & Go has released and as you continued pedaling you walked the Drive out of position on that side. You'll now have to release the other side. Use a hammer and screwdriver if necessary to retract the jammed C&G (gently pry from the top or lightly strike the bottom of the lever just above the drumshaft) Usually there is no residual damage.

On future use, double check both sides are locked up securely by wiggling the Drive back and forth. Be careful not to drag your heal back over the locking levers, possibly accidentally unlocking a lever. If one side of the Drive unlocks for some reason, you can generally feel it right away. Stop pedaling immediately and relock the Drive before it gets a chance to jam again. 8)
