The roller furling collar appears to be slipping upward on the TI's mast. These issues were first reported on the Hobie forum in early 2009. http://www.hobiecat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=75&t=20914&hilit=mast+furl+glue&start=0 http://www.hobiecat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=75&t=13068&p=73301&hilit=mast+collar Is the TI susceptible to this problem too? |

Quote: Is the TI susceptible to this problem too? If the picture shows a TI mast with a slipped drum... I guess it is. Correction is to re-bond with Epoxy. I'm sure that has been discussed here, so a simply forum search should locate needed info. This would be covered by warranty of course, so a dealer can do it if needed. |

My 2011 TI also had slipped up. In the process of re-epoxy . First clue was the clamp on the boat was not engaging the furling drum without some help. I thought I had lost adjustment in the V bolts but the mast collar had slipped up a 1/4" . |
