The roller furling collar appears to be slipping upward on the TI's mast.

These issues were first reported on the Hobie forum in early 2009.

Is the TI susceptible to this problem too?

If the picture shows a TI mast with a slipped drum... I guess it is.

Correction is to re-bond with Epoxy. I'm sure that has been discussed here, so a simply forum search should locate needed info. This would be covered by warranty of course, so a dealer can do it if needed.

My 2011 TI also had slipped up. In the process of re-epoxy . First clue was the clamp on the boat was not engaging the furling drum without some help. I thought I had lost adjustment in the V bolts but the mast collar had slipped up a 1/4" .
