Hello to all, :) I have beeen trolling the forum for a while now and I have not see any talk on what products are available to preserve the exterior on TI's and AI's.
I wash my TI down after every outing, I have coated the mirage drives on three seperate occassions using Inox but I am concerned about the affect it may have on the marine environment.
Can anyone suggest anything?

Sould be able to find a few posts on here. Three good options for protecting the plastic components

Hobie UV Protectant & Restorer
McNett UV Tech
303 Aerospace Protectant

As for metal parts (inc Mirage Drive) a lot of people do well with Lanox which is lanolin based and supposed to be friendlier to the enviroment. It is thicker than Inox and better suited to a marine enviroment. Smells like a nice wool jumper. :D

A few people give their sail a spray with UV protector once a year too. Seems to keep it in good nick.

I'll try and dig up some posts...
