I forgot about this topic. I centered both the main shaft and the idler shaft and tightened the allen screws. I have not had any problems with this drive since. This drive was initially hardly used because I have three drives between the AI and TI. I suspect the allen screws were not initially locked down as tight. I have added a allen tool to my repair kit and check this part more closely when doing maintenance. I do worry about stripping or splitting the plastic piece. |

Just clean up and greased idler pulley shaft area - much smoother and quieter. The only way I learn is to screw it up every possible way first, and hope the learning curve isn't too expensive$$. Thanks for your help |

ATTENTION! I HAVE THE ANSWER!!! There's a hexagonal bolt thingy for each fin (only hexagon shaped thingy, can't miss it, there's 2 of them) use the same tool you used to upgrade to the turbo fins (pliers). twist that hexagon bolt thingy until it is TIGHT. you know how the pedals can be adjusted for tall people or short people? well, the noise has everything to do with the pins that make that adjustment possible. those pins aren't going in deep enough, because that hexagonal bolt thingy isn't tight enough to force them in all the way. I HAD THIS EXACT SAME PROBLEM AND JUST GOT FINISHED FIXING IT. SUPER QUIET NOW!!! Don't read the rest of the comments; you guys have no idea what you're talking about.
