A simple problem, but I've not yet found a solution. The seat adjustment straps on my '14 TI will pull up and provide a nice erect seating position. Gradually, while sailing, the adjustable straps get wet and the seat starts to tilt backward until it is almost in a reclining position.

When the straps are dry they hold their position, but once wet and with weight pushing back on the seats, the straps start to lengthen. Has anyone else experienced this problem ? Solutions ?

thanx,
bill

A forum search would have revealed this is a common problem with a few different fixes. Tying a knot in the webbing, adding a triglide buckle and sewing in Velcro are all possible solutions.
I like to adjust my seat often between upright and laid back depending if I'm pedalling or paddling and the solution that worked best for me was the addition of a camlock/leverlock buckle:

I'd like to try Stringy's solution. Can you provide a link to your camlock/lever buckle so I can buy the right ones that work with the TI seat straps?

Thank you.

Here is a link to a post on this subject along with a link to the buckles I use. If you read the post, some have had less positive results as I, but mine have never slipped in the (at least) 3 years I have been using them.
