Are the mirage drives that come with the TI the same?
I can seat one MD (other is broken) in the front, but not in the back.
Tried like hell, no luck.

Btw, I do this before getting into the water with the TI on it's side with the wheels on. Then I lock the flippers in the up position when pulling the TI into the water.

Thanks,

TC, Kane'Ohe Hawaii

There should be no difference between the drives and they should be completely interchangeable between front and back.

That's what I thought.

Must be the clips in the back well. Actually, when I seat this drive in the front, one side keeps popping out of the clip. I just push it back in. I think the previous owner must have had a lead foot. It's only a 2014.

Shoot. I sail alone and would prefer to sit in back and not get drenched.

Sounds like the spline that locks into the clip got pushed in and is too short. The other option is that the clip on that side might just need to be adjusted.
