I have noticed a slipping when I pedal my mirage drive. After looking things over, my front sprocket is considerably worn more than the rear one. I was wandering if this is how it should be or if I need to replace the front sprocket? I have the v2 style. Thanks.

You can take it all apart and swap the 2 sprockets (move to the other side). This may place the undamaged holes where you want them.

Most of us would just take the adjuster clamp off and pin the sprocket hole with the correct length 1/2" SS bolt, washer and lock nut.

So the teeth on the sprocket are worn and the chain is slipping? Is the chain adjusted correctly?
If they are badly worn then the sprocket needs to be replaced, but talk with your Hobie dealer or read the FAQ's for more info:

(Nohuhu's fix is for worn adjustment holes in the drum)

Quite right Stringy. Thanks. The drum holes slip when worn and can feel like a chain jumping teeth, (but it doesn't happen with every stroke).

If the tooth gears are stripped, they gots to be replaced before they jumps and snaps a cable.
