Well it's been a few months now. Little by little i have been reading post, reviews and staring at pictures of rigged kayaks. My main goal was to get/buy it right the first time. In the end i did change up a few things to fit "me".

All rigged up and ready to snort. Notice the Visipole. I have had tons of boaters as well as the coast guard come up to me while on the water. They all complimented me on the fact they could see me at a distance. Get noticed out there guys.

This is a good shot of how i carry my paddle. Surf to Summit strap on clips were used " why drill holes?" Fish finder mounted up from with Silfisto style Ram tubes.

The other side. You may have noticed some odd stickers. The coast guard was at a local tournament and giving free inspections. Keep an eye out at your local ?mart store for some trays with suction cups on the back. I have and use one that has slots for lures as well as knife and pliers. Why drill holes right?

The warthog decals that i had made are of the same materal used on cop cars and ambulances. We all know how reflective they can be. They are very thick and wrinkle/bubble free. The wrods from kids such as cool and sweet was well worth it.

Nice looking rig -- clean, functional and well customized! I love the decals. Is that a PFD hanging on the seat back or an accessory pack? 8)

Like the setup, simple, and clean like Roadrunner said...

My PA is still clean, waiting, looking and thinking everything out before I start the personal touches.

Very nice. First time I've seen that style of RAM tube put to good use. I'm impressed.

I cut the bottoms off of them like our good friend Silfisto did. That way the rods will go all the way in. I also like the fact you can angle then in towards you and bring the rod down lower in the boat.

Where did you get those decals made, and what do they cost? Your kayak really looks neat. How is the visipole mounted? I am going to get a Pro Angler, too. Sifisto really has some good ideas and talent getting everything together!!

Thanks!

Ray

I had a guy in TX that runs a sgin and decal shop make them for me cost was $100 because of the material. The Visi pole come with the "Scotty" mount option. You can also put it in an empty rod holder.

Easy Rider, how do you like those Surf to Summit paddle keepers? Can you acquire and stow the paddle with one hand?

nicely rigged PA! I bought two VISIpoles, they fit in the rod holders and have bungie cords on them. I got the American flag ones, they also have Pirate and orange. I also don't want any extra holes in my PA, the rod holders are made by Scotty and clamp to the side rails. I will also mount my FF to a clamp on mount to the side rail.

Nice rig EZrider.

My wife and I just purchased 2 PA's and are looking to outfit them. We will mainly be fishing lakes and rivers in the mid west. I just don't want to go out and buy unnecessary accessories. We have purched the anchor systems already and are installed.

A Fish Finder, cart, Safety Flags, RAM rod Tubes, strap on clips (for paddle), and 6" hatch bag will be a must so far. We are thinking about drift chutes, and stake out poles, but need to get them on the water more before making the decision. We are going to get a trailer after vacation next week. I want to see some pics of other peoples rigs so I can get some more ideas of what all I want to do.

I too like the setup. Tell me about your paddle clips. Are they Hobie brand? I cannot find them in the catalogue. Need to know where to get them.
Thanks
Ted

Enjoyed seeing just what can be done to "rig " a kayak.I have a Hobie Rev and a problem that you may help me solve.
I keep hitting my fishing rods (port & starboard) with my feet using the Mirage pedals.Presently using a Scotty rod holder & extension rod for so-called clearance while peddaling.Doesn't work well.
The rod holders you have installed appear to be able to "swing " out over the water,if need be,and that would clear the pedal area for me.SILFISTO-style ram tubes? Name of a supplier would be appreciated.Thanks.
