i just got my new pa in time for the long weekend. when i was going over it in the garadge i noticed the rudder was really stiff and would only turn one way. i took the hand control apart and retrimed the rear compartment above the rudder . i got it turniing both ways now but its still quite hard to move. i have the cables pulled fairly snug has anyone had this problem, is this the norm. will it loosen up in time with use

There has been discussion in these forums about the steering and available adjustments. It should not be stiff. The tight lines will make it stiff though. There is an adjustment knob under the steering handle (I suppose you saw that?) turned one way or the other from (Loose when centered) will add tension to the lines. You should start with the knob at the loosest setting and tension from there.

There is a possibility the lines were crossed when the tube was assembled to the drum Check routing.
