Would a pro angler sit in something like a Hull A port pro. If not what is the most ideal solution to seat the PA in. I cant find any picks of the Pa Saddle i see mentioned |

I don't have anything to offer beyond the fact that a saddle for the PA would probably need to be a hefty cradle. Not just side saddles, but wrap around and wide. Mine, sitting on my "small cross arm" trailer has dimpled the hull. I've since made a wooden saddle until I can come up with something that fits the Trailex type cross arms. Trailex refers me to Hobie. I'm waiting for something that comes along to offer the support the PA needs. |

Hobie has cradles for the Pro Angler. The bolt to the trailer and is designed to cradle the hull for storage and transportation. |

the Hull A Port is way too small for a PA. I transport my PA on Yakima Mako saddles mounted on crossbars. |

I am interested in a recommended product for transferring a PA on the roof of a vehicle as well. Does Hobie have any recommendations? Additionally, does Hobie have any product recommendations for storing a PA from the ceiling of a garage? |

I have a Jeep wrangler with 5" lift and oversize tires. I use saddles on an off-road rack primarily for containing the PA laterally and foam blocks cut to fit between boat and rack tubes. For loading I put the boat so the nose is about even with the centerline of my rear tire and the rear end is lined up with where the boat will be when loaded. I also lay a rubber backed bath mat on the rear of the roof. Lifting the front, I slide it up onto the bath mat then lift the rear and shove the boat on up there. Quite easy actually. Reverse that for coming down.. |

i carry my pa on a jeep cherokee with factory fitted roof bars, yakima hully rollers and mako saddles the rollers are at the rear of the jeep and saddles on the front bar. this works just fine easy loading and of loading by one person the rollers guide the pa and then rest the pa on the saddles go to http://www.yakima.com and you will find them on there and nearest dealer |

I'd recommend the Yakima Land Shark Saddles over the Mako saddles, when I used the Mako saddles they seemed to give/bend under the weight of the PA. The Land Shark saddles are more rigid and in my opinion they seem to secure the hull much better than the makos. Using Hully rollers is a good option for the back...has anyone had any problems with the rollers dimpling the yak though? |

Yeah, i been taking it out on my Van vw t28. its actually easier to get on the roof than the other kayaks because of the handles. Plus i got my first cod new years day. im not sure if it was frozen but it wasnt steering that easy. I checked it out on and it seemed fine, however maybe the rudder didnt lower properly. |
