Quality problems with my new eVolve

The 200 lb mono is leader material and I purchased it at a tackle store......it is held with double leader sleeves.

I do not own multiple Hobies but I am quite sure the eVolve is interchangeable.

I have not put my eVolve to a real test, yet. The furtherest I have used it was 1.7 miles offshore. It did get me out and back, but used 60% of my power. They say it will go 8 miles, but that most probably is at 2 miles an hour. Most people paddle 3.5-4 mph, so 2 mph is about trolling speed. I guess it is a ego thing but I sure don't want to be propelled buy a motor that won't keep pace with paddlers......let alone peddlers!

But as said, I haven't been able to put it to the real test, yet......that will probably happen in June.
