Just received my new PA last week; couldn't wait for the warm weather and my wife wanted it out of the living room. I bundled up in 1 degree C; christened it and off we went. Here are some pictures. |

Great photos! Good looking PA, and the background of each pic is interesting. Where were you and your PA for these shots? |

Congrat's Fishhawk! How'd you like it? Where ever you are, there's less ice than here in Michigan. Hopefully you can get out there soon to do some fishhawking. Thanks for the photos. PS. What do you think about the cart and wheels you have? They look terrain appropriate. GR8 Laker |

Thanks I am in Dartmouth Nova Scotia; Banook Lake. The wheels I have seem to be fine however I am waiting for my dealer to receive the newest version so I can try them and make a decision. Love it so far. |

Fishhawk, I noticed from the photos that there were no collar clamps on your cart. They are good for distributing the weight between the scupper holes and the hull (where it rests on the crossbar pad) so the hull doesn't develop any malformation. I'm not sure if they are supposed to come with the cart or not but they are worth having, especially on those hot summer days. Happy Fishing! By the way, Nice Rig! GR8 Laker |

Fishawk, Cool, I like the christening! You got the sand color, it looks sharp! I ordered the sand but got green, liked it, so I kept it but every time I see the sand, I wish I had held out for the sand. Do you fish Bannook or Micmac? I got my Outback in Penhorn before I moved to Ontario and had a good day. Thinking a trip up the Partridge this spring would be a blast! So much water I haven't tried here in Porters! Woooooooooo HOOOOOOOOO!!!! |

It looks like you had a good ride. Wicked awesome! You appear to have the latest cart and wheels -- the new cart frame extends up through the scuppers and the tires are the smooth Wheeleez type. I have the same. Like GR8 Laker said, you should have received the collars for the cart as they do come with the TraxII version. Mine did anyhow. I have the same color PA -- it lookes great. I plan to take it out for the first time this weekend. I'm stoked! TDK |

GR8 Laker Thanks for the heads up on the collars for my cart. I am waiting for me dealer to get the newest wheels in so I can decide which ones I will end up with. I was going to wait to upgrade my cart until then; however I think I will upgrade right away. Thanks again |

Troutbum I had a smaller yak last year and was careful where I fished; now I can go anywhere. Planning on fishing Albro, Banook, Micmac, Charles,Williams, Grand and the rest of them. We are fortunate to live in the city of lakes. |

GR8 Laker I appear to have the smaller cart; I can barley lock it in place without collars. Can I get collars on that cart; the dealer wont have the upgrade for a month. Thanks |

Fishhawk, I don't think the collars will work on the carts with shorter "arms" but I have seen people with that style cart cut holes in tennis balls to slide down the arms. This may work until you get a new cart but be sure to do it in a way that allows the arms to come all the way through the scupper holes. I've heard that the inside lining of the scupper holes is thinner and weaker material, thus, more prone to puncture. Have a look at what yakkingaway did to resolve the arm length issue in the "wheel options for PA cart" topic. Something like this should do for the time being until you can exchange your cart for one with longer uprights. Try to avoid making any permanent modifications to the cart so your dealer will be OK with the exchange. I hope this is helpful in some way and, as always, Happy Pro Anglering! GR8 Laker |
