IllinoisOutdoors, Am I understanding your question to be if I remove the Mirage drive when I put the PA on the trailer? If so, yes, I always remove the Mirage drive so it won't get damaged. It is even a good idea to pop the drive out when you are getting ready to beach the PA. I damaged both fins Saturday when I did not remove the drive and I did not have the fins up against the hull when I was in shallow water. |

Thanks. I have it covered. I received my new PA and it's great. I see now what is meant by pulling the MDrive. I have done it in beaching the unit and while at a dock with a couple feet of water I put them all the way up and used the bungee cord to hold it in place. Gotta tell other who use it to not forget to lift the rutter... |
