The PA fits nicely into the back of my Chevy Avalanche. The bed is 8' long and the tailgate adds a couple more feet, so very little of the yak is unsupported.

Unloading is a breeze as it can just be wheeled out. When we launch from sand beaches, I just backup to the water's edge and plop it in. I've got 4-wheel drive, so not too worried about getting stuck.

The carriage I built is designed to store the PA on its handles as recommended. Bit of a task flipping it upside down but I'm getting better at it. Room to store, dry all my equipment on the carriage--makes it more difficult to forget something but I still manage to do so.

Nice looking set up! I especialy like the way you have you set up the rack -- and the fact that it is portable. Great job! 8)

Appreciate your comments, RR. Setup has worked out well for me. Now if the fish would just start biting in SE Florida :-(
