Thanks for sharing this video TDK.
I KNEW you'd be all over this one HH!!! Hopefully this won't interfere with the new switch panel. I too am excited for the release of this new feature. After watching the video, I wondered if the new mount (on the 2011 model) is roto-molded into the port side and a kit is available to mount on the starboard side, if so desired. I think many owners will be pouncing on this one!

Check out this video from that shows the new steering handle on the 2011 Pro Angler. It looks like a good improvement and I'm happy to hear there will be an update kit available for older models. Are the rudder control lines completely inside the hull? I wonder how the kit to switch the control to the right side (or to retro to an older PA) will work if the lines run inside the hull? Hey Hobie, fill us in!

As for the 2011, the answer is yes. The control lines are completely inside the hual.

It is a stainless steel fitting that can be mounted to the right (or left on older models). We have not yet determined the cost.

It is designed to replicate the 2011 position and can work on the right side as well.
