Regular "running lights" will possibly cause an issue too. It indicates you can "maneuver" to avoid certain circumstances, meaning powered and then "right of way" comes into play. I personally wouldn't use a flashing light either. That's me. It means distress or at least the perception of distress. Good all around white light, lots of SOL tape and a very bright back up torch/light of some sort to wave or signal if someone gets too close. Stay safe out there guys.

squidder 329 - I bought the reflective tape at Lowes...have seen it at Home Depot too. Put it on the Yak in October and so far it is holding up pretty good.

Just got my YakAttack VisiCarbon Pro. I haven't used it yet but should perform well for night outings.
