I get an intermittent creaking noise, from my seat, with each pedal stroke. Sometimes, when I reposition my body on the seat, the sound goes away.

There are two rails that mount the seat to the boat. One is fixed and the other is free floating on two shafts, except for a rivet head, which limits its range of motion. The free floating rail, on my seat, appears to be producing the noise. It has a lot of play, around the two shafts.

Also, even when I tighten the attachment screws, at the seat’s front, the back attachments aren’t completely tight.

Please let me know if anyone else has experienced these problems.

I have not. However, if it's creaking then something is moving. Either something is loose or something is broken.

Removing the seat is easy (two finger nuts up front). Just take it out and give it a look over. No need to overly tighten anything, but nothing should be loose. If snugging up the bolts doesn't fix things, it may be time to look a bit deeper.
