I know , the PA cost alot...I think too much...scratching,grinding,drilling, storing, carrying it all post problems with it's fresh look and value. I think the PA was meant to use not baby and I put it through it's challenges on rocky islands and launch points. I don't believe it's that fragile. Is it ??? I carry it in my truck bed, roll it over on it's side to mount the wheels, store it upright on two (2) sawhorses.. drill holes in it for accessories. stand in it, drag it sometimes and never wash it but I use it. My Old Town 138 was used in the same way and it looks used but is still real good !!! Is this neanderthal thinking ? I could be more careful and I do not beat on the PA but in the summer I use it alot and it still is in great shape. I feel from the post that this boat is fragil and I don't see it... Thanks

I agree Hobie makes a well built product, whatever kayak you have, fish it hard and get everything you can out of it!!

Hobie builds a product that was meant to be fished hard. Trust me, I've been out in small craft advisories fishing in the worse conditions imaginable; this Pro Angler kicks ass....as well as the other Hobie kayaks. You get what you pay for, so if you want something nice to look at buy some art work. Fish and fish hard, you cannot get back today, so make a move in the right direction and put that money back into yourself. Buy a Hobie and start living the dream. By no means abuse any kayak, because everything out there breaks if abused. Take care of your kayak and it will most definitely take care of you. Now get your tail out there fishing and don't look back. MJ.

I take good care of mine. But I use it, and use it hard, she can take it!
