Heading to Panama City Beach Florida for our march break (March 10-17).
Anyone here fish that area and be willing to hook up or share some intel?
Planning to stay at the state campground at this point. 18hr drive for us from southern Ontario, Canada.
Looks like the fishing is great in that area.

I used to live on Scenic 30A in between Destin and PCB in a town called Seagrove. Check this area out. There are Coastal Dune Lakes that are a rare ecosystem found only 3 places on earth. The one closest to PCB is Powell Lake. Then you got state parks like Topsail State Park to fish from the beach.

While living there, I never kayak fished. I only fished from the beach. Those are the places I would start tough. Hook up with Panama City Kayak Fishing Club...maybe they have an outing that week.

Hook up with Capt. Linda. She's a local charter Captain specializing in kayak fishing. She'll put you on them. Redfish & trout have been good this year. You're gonna have a blast. I live about a mile from the park, March is gonna be awesome!

You will want to try St.Andrews St Park as well. Not only a beatiful park but good fishing out of kayak, which they rent as well but off the jetties.

I was unable to get a campsite at St Andrews but did get one at Raccoon river. Looks like a nice place.
I am getting pumped.
