Started using an ice sled used for ice fishing to tote my stuff to and from the shoreline. Believe me this eliminates all back problems toting this stuff. For most the task of this extra labor is what will discourage anyone from going the motorized route. This obliterates that assumption. That sled contains more weight than you think, and sliding it over sand is much much easier than carrying it. The weight inside the sled: battery 80#, motor 25#, anchor with 4' of heavy chain 22#, and a 20# striper. I'm glad this day I only had one fish, because I'd be making an extra trip. If you're breaking your back this is an excellent way to save time and pain lugging stuff. Enjoy. MJ.
