Appreciate the reply. I am a bass fisherman for the most part and I am considering a SI FF for the future. But like everything else I wonder if these fishing accessories / tools catch more fisherman than they help catch fish. I have a simple sonar FF now and it seems to have a limited cone area. But I have to admit I am parallel to shoreline the majority of time and the thought of seeing side views seems like it would be very beneficial. But that could just be me justifying the sound of monies leaving my wallet

I've had a HB SI unit for over seven years and would not recommend SI units to everyone.

MM - I have a PA14. I'm in Chandler. Give me a shout if going out. Like to check out that HB install and how it functions. I am on the fence about adding SI to the new yak.

I'll be at Lake Pleasant this Thurs. Weather permitting, I'll be braking in my sailing kit. If you can make it out shoot me an email me.

Later, MM

Sorry - can't make that. I'll take a rain check if possible. Good luck with the sail.
