Ahhhh the question that every yakker has pondered but were afraid to ask. :D

It depends on the scenario. I was in a situation spearfishing in the south pacific as a kid. I knew I couldn't make it to the public restroom so I dove down about 15 feet...grabbed on to the coral and let torpedoes go. It was truly a sight to see. I do believe there was high fat content because, I swear, those babies executed a surface breach much like an LA Class Nuclear Sub.

While kayaking the flats, I was way too far from the launch and any restroom...so I told my buddies to go ahead, I would catch up with them. I got out of my yak, ensured which way was down current...pointed in the right direction and let loose...pardon the pun.

3rd Scenario, I fishing BYB, mother nature gave me a conference call. You know...1 and 2. This situation was the most dreadful situation...but bite was on and it was a long paddle back. Plus I knew that surfing the waves back in would probably cause me to go anyway. I had to get creative and used my bait bucket :o All of my experience as a martial artist had to come into play...Balance, Concentration, and Confidence LOL. Just had to make sure no one was around..though, my friends never let me forget it. It was a good learning experience, because they both used the same technique

Now, those were only three times...I have been kayaking since 2005. Most of the time, I try to ensure to practice preventive measures...know your patterns, know your diet, and most of all...know your a$$

lmfao your good man. I just hope that you didn't wipe your a$$ on the coral. me and my girlfriend have IBS and when we gotta go we gotta go. I've been on my 12 foot aluminum boat and I always have a bucket LOL but I don't know if I could have the skills you have balancing on on bucket in the ocean on my pro angler. tight line and even tighter sphincters.

I pull the mirage drive and squat over the opening...

Gents - Thank you for a great laugh! Being active duty Air Force & having been through survival schools "field training" has kicked in on many of outings. My only advice, I do recommend a travel pack of baby wipes. Sure better than scooting your rear across a grassy area and it's by means no time to weave your self a wiper out of grass blades either. Have a crewmember who had to go in flight. Had no where else to go, so he dropped flight suit, squatted - "attempted to aim" & drop in his sock. Needless to say, he has a new 'call sign" - SIS...(censored) in Sock!
Thanks again for the laugh - Cheers!

I thought about that. I just hope you don't ever have a floater. :)

Then just reach in and toss it. You can wash up after all, there's a whole lot of water around.

Good call on the 'Wet Wipes' btw.

Keep toilet paper in your dry bag for emergencies. I fish lakes so I just hit the woods when I need to.

BTW, I used to think I had IBS, it was just excessive amounts of whiskey. Stopped drinking the stuff and I can set a clock by my movements. Good luck out there.

I pull the mirage drive while on the water and viola! instant urinal.
#2, I have never had the urge while on the water.

Something about the pedal motion of the Mirage Drive works my bladder like nothing else.

I knew bears did it in the woods, but not yakkers - just goes to show, you learn something new every day! :-)

Awe YUCK I mean...if you're gunna..and ya gotta...but then ya...and then OH BOY! I think that's why they made, "Depends".

BTW...don't you think that's a funny name, "Depends?" Couldn't they have picked something that instills just a bit more confidence in their product like, "Guaranteed" or maybe even "Not To Worry". How about a name that would make any NY Fishyaker smile..."Fa-Get-About-It" :o

You guys are great!

It's 'Depend' not 'Depends'
