Has anyone installed the Gear Trac on the side rails of the PA? That is where my rod holders will be in their best location. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks. I found this yesterday but it looks like everyone has a prototype installed, has production started on the actual product yet?

I have an email out to yakattack. Waiting to hear now.

No production mounts yet. I am sure they are still working on the molds. There is a new thinner gear trac rail coming out that may work better than the original one on the PA. Waiting to see what develops.

Yes, I have my fish finder mounted to a geartrax mounted to the side rails. Luther at yakattack sent me 2 mounts so I could mount the trac to the rail. Just email him before you buy the trac, and he shall set you up. Just make sure you send him the order # so you can ensure it goes smoothly. Luther/yakattack customer service is top notch. I bought the wrong ball mount. He noticed it and emailed me and fixed the problem before the ordered shipped. Luther is the man!!!

If you like I can upload some pics if needed.

I have a hobie sport and wish to install a geartrac for a fishfinder (using madfrog's liberator mini) .

Has anyone out there with a sport installed geartrac on it?

I read there is a new thinner geartrac to be released soon - is the narrow version better for hobie sport users?

Thanks in advance
