Can you leave the PA on the scupper hole cart if you add tennis balls and it does not make contact with the hull?

I know the new 2012 ones have the extra support added to the holes, so i was thinking I can leave it on the cart in storage without damaging it. This will be quicker for loading as well.

Anyone have any experience that they can share?

Not a good idea. Hobie recomends either on the ground, or on it side. If I were you go to the local hardware store and get two pieces of 3 or 4" pvc and one 2x4. Cut the 2x4 in half. If you got one 21'x4"or3" cut in half. If you got 2 10'x4"or3" leave alone. Lay the pipe on the 2x4 (one on each end) at about 11in. center to center. Like a runner on a trailer. Then store it like that. I have pwc trailer and I put the pipe in place of the wood. No flat spots and it slides on off with ease. I alos bought a cover from Cabellas bargain cave, camo for a 14 foot boot. It was 57 bucks it works great keeping cats and junk out and it is waterproof. Plus it keeps the sun off it.
