I wonder where those pics were taken of the PA 12 cruising around those boulders and that tourqoise blue crystal clear water with the snow capped mountains in the background? Absoulutely gorgeous. Anyone know?

Our guys just did a trip up to Lake Tahoe for a photo shoot last week with the PA12. That's where the pictures on our site are from.

That's lake Tahoe emerald bay. I have a cabin near there. Lake has mackinaw, and about every kind of trout there is. I found a good population of smallmouth there in the keys to. You can see bottom in over 100 feet of water there.

Jeffrey Fortuna is our in-house photographer who took those shots of the PA on Lake Tahoe - and he also posted a bunch more on our company Facebook page too (including some really cool shots from Mono Lake) - have a look and like our page while you're at it!

The photo of that island looks like the tower in emerald bay lake Tahoe.

BTW: the factory has starting production on PA 12's - and we're still on track for early June delivery. I snapped a couple of cell phone pictures of boats getting started in the assembly area yesterday for you guys. Thought I'd share here...

What are the chances I can get a Livewell in that Olive? Those things look so nice. I still love my old outback, but I can't wait for one of those.

Jacques,

Thanks for sharing those pictures. The pictures of the PAs being put together are great. Those are unique pictures that helps current and futue PA owners understand what goes into putting a PA together. It would probably be a great idea if each Hobie model fourm had still pictures showing the process from pouring the buckets through final assembly. Unless those shots give away any trade secrets, I think they would be great for promoting each model.

Check out this video from our Made in America episode. It will give you an idea about the production of the kayaks. No PA's back when it was made though.

Brendan,

I watched that months ago before I decided that I wanted to get my two Hobies. Great video! Thanks for posting it!

Thanks for the production pics!

If I were a betting man I'd say I'll be riding in my new PA in a couple of weeks!
