Hey all,
Just wanted to throw out a little of the history behind my decision to purchase my boat. My dad (and hero) drew his last breath on Feb.8th at 8:13 P.M. He was my friend and fishing buddy and I miss him terribly. Anyway, when all was said and done there were a few $$$ for each of us kids (1 brother and 1 sister).
Some of the best times I can remember were spent on or around the water with poppa and I decided to look for something that would help me enjoy the sport I was introduced to by my dad at a very young age. Always thought a boat would be nice, but my storage space is limited and I really didn't want all the maintenance. The PA 12 is the perfect answer for me and I love it. It motivates me to get out and fish and I always think about dad when I'm on the water. Pretty sure he's up there smiling down on me when I'm out there and it's something I may not have been able to afford without his loving gift. Sorry to get sappy on you guys but I feel better. Thanks poppa and thanks to anyone who takes time to read this post. God Bless. :)

Thanks for sharing! It is a great sport and between the Mirage Drive and casting, it allows for all of us to get some great exercise! :D

That's a nice story and a great way to remember your father. Good luck out there!

Great way to honor the old man. Made me kinda choke up a bit as I glanced over to my 3 year old. I've already taken him out on the PA14 a few times and hope to build that same bond over a lifetime.
