Hey Folks,

has anyone tried to retrofit an older Hobie to make it "Lowrance Ready"?

Looking to change over my sounder at the moment, and as my last installation ended up with massively corroded connectors, I'm curious to know if it would plausible to make up a similar housing, and plastic weld it into the hull....

Currently in an 2008 Revo...

Option B is Mad Frog board, mounted on a Gear Trac 90, and hang the transducer over the side... and then work out what the hell to do with all of the extra cable....

ideas welcomed :)
