I was out on the harbor fishing the other day. My hands were cold inside my neoprene s as usual. The thought occurred to me that my dual sport motorcycle has waterproof heated hand grips. Why couldn't I rig up a set of grips on the side rails that my hands are on anyway. Anyone else tried this? Thanks in advance guys. Tight lines!

Or stick one of those heat packs in your glove (one per side). I do this, on the back side of my hand, and my hands and fingers stay toasty warm.

I could be wrong, but most of the heated motorcycle hand grips that I know of are not meant to be submersed. You might want to make sure that any accidental tipping of the boat doesn't ruin whatever system that you might rig up.

A wool glove will do much better at keeping your hands warm and dry.
