I thought I'd share my knockoff version of the Bassyaks trolling motor set-up, complete with my do-it-yourself instructions.

I already had the trolling motor (minn-kota 30lbs), so the set up only cost me $70.58. $40 of the total was on the stainless steel mounting bracket, which I had fabricated locally.
