Hi All,
Some of you may like to check this out as a simple solution to making a cradle for your PA's.
It solved a few problems for me and is quite cheap to make.
It would also work in flatback trucks I think ?
Measurements are metric in my description.
25 mm = 1 inch
1 metre = 3.3 feet
The "pool" noodles/floats are probably available in US from Kmart etc.
Cheers,
Rod

Fabulous! After Season Number One with my new PA 14, I found a carpetted spot in my garage. I laid down the really wide diameter PVC pipes and placed the kayak on that. I think your creation for storage is even better; fixing the noodles in place so they don't run around. Excellent! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Arcticmermaid,
thanks for the positive comment :D
I move my cradle around a bit and am ok with noodle/rollers allowing me to sort of roll it sideways sometimes.
Gluing them if in fixed location would be a good idea :D
Hope life is good for you :D
Cheers,
Rod

I just meant that with the pipes going through the noodles, the noodles maintain their "formation" nicely and can't roll away just when you are trying to line up the kayak on top. I don't think your design needs any changes. Next spring when I get back to the lake I am making something similar.
Your royalty cheque is in the mail!!!

Any specs on that Bentrod? I wonder if it would fit a new PA 12? I am sure I could copy it very closely to make it work....
