Post subject:  PA Maintenance?

I'm heading out on a 3 week fishing excursion with my PA and was wondering if there is any preventative maintenance I should do before taking off? Does anyone lubricate the rudder or any parts, etc? Thanks for any suggestions!

Three weeks? Find a car wash and give it a bath on occassion. Take some Brake Free lub for the Mirage drive also.

When I fish salt water, I always flush the drive with fresh water, then use WD-40 or some other spray lube on it. If headed out for 3 weeks, I'd review the manual for adjustment to the fins, if needed.

Same here, find a carwash to get the salt off and you should be good to go!

I haven't had it in salt so no problem there. The rudder pin came out and disappeared several weeks ago so I replaced that with one that will hopefully stay! I also have an extra pin just in case. Anything else you can think of? Thanks for your comments!
