How do you guys clean your fishfinder/graph after a day on the water with lots of salt water gettin all over it?

I just wipe it down with a rag with fresh water lightly then dry with towel.

I live on the coast and wash all my gear on the kayak with a garden hose. Mirage Drive, poles anything metal. then stand to dry or dry off with a towel.

hi, I use warm soapy water if available, dry with a microfiber cloth. while fishing, if needed, i rinse it off with my drinking water.

Technically how waterproof are lowrance elite fishfinders?

technically, they are supposed to be waterproof, but i dont think they list any of the units with a JIS rating. i've had maybe a dozen lowrance units over the last 8 or 9 years, and with only an exception with a screen fogging here and there, i've done everything but submerge them. if you are concerned with spraying them off, dont worry. unless you you a pressure washer i dont think you will ever have an issue.
