Something is wrong with the set up.. Place the back of the bucket in place at the back and then see if the from of the bucket will slip into place. The lid's rim is blocking the bucket from slidding into place at the back. There is not room to adjust the install the way you show in the picture... But I think it should fit. Good Luck. |

The bucket is to deep for the PA 12. You can only put in the regular size bucket. |

There is only so much room between the deck and the hull bottom. Not hardly worth redesigning the hull and possibly changing the boat's characteristics in order to be able to fit a deep bucket in that well. |

Try the deep bucket from Hobie that replaces the two tackle box trays in the front hatch. Much more handy storage and an easy fix.!!! |
